भारतीय मूल के अमेरिकी अभिमन्यु मिश्रा (Abhimanyu Mishra) दुनिया के सबसे कम उम्र के शतरंज ग्रैंडमास्टर बन गए हैं.

भारतीय मूल के अमेरिकी अभिमन्यु मिश्रा (Abhimanyu Mishra) दुनिया के सबसे कम उम्र के शतरंज ग्रैंडमास्टर बन गए हैं. 12 साल की उम्र में, उन्होंने सेर्गेई कर्जेकिन (Sergey Karjakin) के लंबे समय से चला आ रहा रिकॉर्ड तोड़ दिया, जो 12 साल  महीने के थे, जब उन्होंने यह खिताब हासिल किया. तीन साल पहले  भारत के आर प्रज्ञानानंद उनसे लगभग आगे निकल गए थे, लेकिन एक झटके से मौका गवाँ दिए।

Indian-American Abhimanyu Mishra has become the youngest Chess Grandmaster in the world.  At the age of 12, he broke the long-standing record of Sergey Karjakin, who was 12 years and months, when he achieved the title.  Three years ago, India KR Pragyanand almost overtook him, but missed the opportunity with a stroke.

विवेक राम चौधरी होंगे वायुसेना के नए उप प्रमुख

एयर मार्शल हरजीत सिंह अरोड़ा  के बाद एयर मार्शल विवेक राम चौधरी  भारतीय वायुसेना के नए उप प्रमुख होंगे. एयर मार्शल विवेक राम चौधरी वर्तमान में IAF के पश्चिमी वायु कमान (WAC) के कमांडर-इन-चीफ के रूप में कार्यरत हैं, जो  लद्दाख सेक्टर के साथ-2 उत्तर भारत के अन्य हिस्सों में देश के हवाई क्षेत्र की सुरक्षा की देखभाल करता है। जब एयर मार्शल अरोड़ा जी सेवानिवृत्त होंगे तब एयर मार्शल विवेक चौधरी पद संभालेंगे।

After Air Marshal Harjit Singh Arora, Air Marshal Vivek Ram Choudhary will be the new Deputy Chief of the Indian Air Force.  Air Marshal Vivek Ram Choudhary is currently serving as the Commander-in-Chief of IAF's Western Air Command (WAC), which looks after the country's airspace security in the Ladakh sector as well as other parts of North India.  .  When Air Marshal Arora ji retires, Air Marshal Vivek Chaudhary will take over.

अमिताभ कांत को नीति आयोग के सीईओ के रूप में मिला 1 साल का विस्तार

कैबिनेट की नियुक्ति समिति ने नीति आयोग के मुख्य कार्यकारी अधिकारी (CEO) अमिताभ कांत  के कार्यकाल को 30 जून, 2022 तक एक साल के लिए बढ़ा दिया है. यह तीसरी बार है जब कांत का कार्यकाल बढ़ाया गया है. श्री कांत को पहली बार दो साल के निश्चित कार्यकाल के लिए 17 फरवरी, 2016 को संघीय नीति थिंक टैंक के सीईओ के रूप में नियुक्त किया गया था.
1980 बैच के आईएएस अधिकारी को फरवरी 2018 में उनका कार्यकाल समाप्त होने के बाद पहली बार 30 जून 2019 तक विस्तार दिया गया था. फिर उन्हें 30 जून, 2021 तक दो साल का विस्तार दिया गया था.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has extended the tenure of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of NITI Aayog Amitabh Kant by one year till June 30, 2022.  This is the third time Kant's term has been extended.  Mr Kant was first appointed as the CEO of the federal policy think tank on February 17, 2016 for a fixed tenure of two years.

 The 1980 batch IAS officer was given extension till 30 June 2019 for the first time after his tenure ended in February 2018.  He was then given an extension of two years till June 30, 2021.
