हाल ही में भारत के रसायन और उर्वरक मंत्री डी वी सदानंद गौड़ा ने भारत मे दस प्लास्टिक पार्क स्थापित करने की मंजूरी दे दिए है। ये प्लास्टिक पार्क उड़ीसा, मध्यप्रदेश, असम, उत्तराखंड, तमिलनाडु, छत्तीसगढ़ और झारखंड में स्थापित किये जायेंगे। इस प्लास्टिक पार्क में जो प्लास्टिक की चीजें बनी होती है उसका प्रोडक्शन होता है।

भारत की महिला चयन समिति की नई प्रमुख बनी नीतू डेविड
हाल ही में भारत की महिला चयन समिति की नई प्रमुख के रूप में नीतू डेविड को नियुक्त किया गया है। पाँच सदस्यीय महिला राष्ट्रीय चयन पहलू का गठन किया गया जिसका प्रमुख नीतू डेविड को बना दिया गया है। इसकी नियुक्ति भारत के क्रिकेट बोर्ड BCCI के द्वारा किया गया है। नीतू डेविड एक स्पिनर थी जो महिला वनडे क्रिकेट में दूसरी सबसे ज्यादा विकेट लेने वाली महिला है। जो 97 मैच में 141 विकेट लिए है। नीतू डेविड ने 2008 में क्रिकेट से सन्यास ली थी।

जी एस अमूर का निधन
हाल ही में जी एस अमूर का निधन हो गया जो कर्नाटक के एक प्रसिद्ध साहित्यकार थे। इनको 1966 में साहित्य अकादमी पुरस्कार से सम्मानित भी किया गया था। कर्नाटक में मुख्यमंत्री वी एस यदुरप्पा ने शोक जाहिर किये है और बताये है कि जी एस अमूर ने " द कॉन्सेप्ट ऑफ कॉमेडी:ए रिस्टेटमेंट" पर अपनी थिसिस के लिए डायरेक्ट की उपाधि मिली थी।
महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने सिगरेट को बैन किया
हाल ही में महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने खुली सिगरेट को बैन कर दिया गया है। अब महाराष्ट्र में कही भी खुला सिगरेट नही मिलेगा जो भी लगा पैकेट ही लेगा और ऐसे ही बेचा जाएगा।
सिगरेट को पैकेट में बेचने के कारण:- सिगरेट को पैकेट में बेचने का कारण है कि जो पैकेट पे वार्निंग दी होती है वो सभी को दिखाई देंगे और बहुत से ऐसे लोग है जो उस वार्निंग को देख कर सिगरेट पीना छोड़ सकते है। और खुला सिगरेट बेचने पर वो वार्निंग नही दिखेगी इसीलिए महाराष्ट्र सरकार ने यह फैसला लिया है और ऐसा करने वाला ये देश का पहला राज्य बन गया है।
